STAGE 2-Zipper’s Gen2 Stage 2 head upgrade begins with an inspection of the cylinder head as received; seats, guides and valves are all inspected for unusual wear or issues. After the inspection is completed, the valves and seats are professionally machined and blended to provide maximum flow in an un-ported head to achieve power and concentricity without the cost of ported heads. This process offers superior flow and sealing over the OE or a SE head. Heads are decked and fully assembled, ready for installation. Before decking approximate cc volume is 89-90 cc, which can be paired with multiple different compression pistons for various outputs.

STAGE 3-The Zipper’s CNC ported heads for center-cooled engines were developed in conjunction with the Zipper’s Muscle Stage 3 kit. They feature beautifully shaped port designed to maximize velocity and flow to produce incredible torque and horsepower for your next engine build.

This package includes larger intake seats and +1mm stainless intake and exhaust valves, to complement the complex shapes of the ports and precision valve seat machining.  All work is professionally machined and blended to perfection, to provide superior flow and sealing over OE or SE heads.

The unique intake port shape of the center-cooled Gen 2 cylinder head is port-matched to the larger SE 68mm throttle body and manifold system.

Provide a compression ratio target + piston dome volume, and the heads will be decked, cleaned and assembled ready to mount on the new engine.
