V-Twin Solid Motor Mount Kit 31-2004 for Harley-Davidson XL, 2004-2013

Solid motor mount kit for swingarm and hardtail frames features a natural alloy construction and finish. Kit replaces stock ISO-rubber mounts from 2004-up Sportster models

The V-Twin Solid Motor Mount Kit, SKU 31-2004, is a four-piece replacement set designed for listed 2004–2013 Harley-Davidson XL applications. The kit includes replacement motor mounts, two covers, and hardware for the outside of the rear mounts.

These solid mounts help eliminate shake while the motor is running and are suitable for hardtail applications where reducing rear chain slap is desired. The design also allows the rider to feel the engine torque more directly.

During installation, support the motor’s weight with the bike on a lift. The supplier recommends using two people for installation. Refer to the manufacturer’s installation instructions for additional guidance: http://www.vtwinmfg.com/Instructions/31/31-2004.pdf
