The V-Twin 32-1769 V-Fire Single Fire Electronic Ignition Distributor with Coil is designed for late-model electric ignition applications and uses a reverse-drive gear. The distributor top can be removed without removing the front head, supporting service access during installation and maintenance. It uses cone-style ignitions for 1970-and-up applications and includes a single-fire ignition module for Big Twin applications.

Single-fire operation sends a spark to each cylinder independently, with each cylinder firing one at a time. The distributor includes internal components that require reverse-rotation gears. V-Twin suggests using the #12-1497 Reverse Circuit Breaker Gear, which is available separately. The circuit breaker drive gear used must be a reverse-rotation gear.

The V-Twin 32-1769 distributor requires a 12-volt battery. It fits 1936–1945 Harley-Davidson EL applications. Refer to the manufacturer-provided instructions for installation guidance and verify the required reverse-rotation gear before installation.
