V-Twin 22-0459 Kick Starter Conversion Kit Chrome for 2007–2016 Harley-Davidson XL

Kick starter conversion kit includes chrome sprocket cover with transmission mainshaft kick starter arm rubber pedal and kick shaft. Fits 5-speed models.

The V-Twin 22-0459 Kick Starter Conversion Kit Chrome adds a kick-starting system while retaining the electric starter. The kit includes a one-piece forged main shaft with integral 17-0723 gear set, designed to accept a small ratchet gear, along with an alloy-finish kicker cover and chrome kick arm. The kicker cover is milled to allow use of the original exhaust bracket, and the kicker gear is mounted inside the pulley for access.

This kit works with stock exhaust. Forward controls or relocation of the master cylinder are required. Installation requires removal and replacement of the main shaft, and the motor case must be split. Mechanical and technical skill, as well as special tools, are required for installation; consult the factory service manual. The V-Twin 22-0459 kit fits 2007–2016 Harley-Davidson XL models.
