V-Twin 22-0310 Partial 4-Speed Kick Starter Kit

Partial 4-speed kick starter kit includes all components except the arm cover and pedal.

The V-Twin 22-0310 Partial 4-Speed Kick Starter Kit includes the clutch lever finger shaft assembly for supported Harley-Davidson applications. This kit is intended as part of a kick starter assembly and provides the clutch lever finger shaft component required for installation.

The clutch lever shaft and finger kit are available separately to complete the assembly. The clutch release shaft is not included. V-Twin suggests using this kit with the 17-0373 Clutch Release Shaft Kit. For installation of 1974–1980 kick starter kits on 1980–1985 4-speed models, a late bearing retainer incorporating a built-in kick starter stop is required.

For proper installation, the thrust washer with countersink for the kick shaft faces the kicker spring. Additional suggested components include the 17-0309 Kick Starter Arm and Pedal Assembly Chrome, 17-0902 Kick Starter Lock Tab, 17-0403 Kick Starter Gear, 17-0409 Oil Deflector and 17-9962 Clutch Finger Shaft Kit. The kit has a unit of measure of KIT and is manufactured in Taiwan.

Fitment includes 1936–1940 Harley-Davidson EL models and 1937–1941 Harley-Davidson UL models.
