Motorshop 17-7660 Adjustable Transmission Mounting Plate

Adjustable transmission mounting plate with a chrome finish. Features built in adjuster screws for positive and even adjustment.

The Motorshop 17-7660 Adjustable Transmission Mounting Plate features built-in dual adjusters operated from the end of its 1/2-inch thick steel plate by counterbored socket-head screws. These adjusters allow accurate mainshaft alignment and are well suited for open belt drive models.

Three front mounting holes accommodate various frames. The plate fits 4-speed Big Twin transmissions from 1979 through 1986 with flat-bottom cases, as well as 1936 through early 1978 cases when the sliders are milled off the bottom of the cases. The listed fitment includes 1971–1980 Harley-Davidson FL models.
