Motorshop 10-2001 Shovelhead 80-Inch Long Block

The Motorshop 10-2001 Shovelhead 80-inch long block is a pre-run factory-tested engine assembly designed for specified 1971–1980 Harley-Davidson FL applications. It features a crankcase, oil pump and breather assembly, a 4-1/4-inch stroke flywheel, bearings, and a stock cam matched with the pinion and cam gear with bearing.

The assembly includes a chrome nose cover, chrome lifter blocks fitted with hydraulic tappets, and stock-style pushrods. Cylinders measure 3-1/2 inches and use standard-compression pistons and rings. The top end includes stock-type single-plug heads with stainless steel valves. The unit is supplied with a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin.

Manifold, stator, and ignition system components must be ordered separately. The Motorshop 10-2001 long block is supplied as one engine assembly and is manufactured in the USA.
