Motorshop 10-1992 80-Inch Flatside Shovelhead Short Block

Shipped fully assembled. Short block includes 1965-1969 splined sprocket shaft with 4-1/4 inch stroke.

The Motorshop 10-1992 80-Inch Flatside Shovelhead Short Block is assembled with a Sifton oil pump and breather assembly, Timken bearings, and a stock-lift cam properly installed with a matched pinion and cam gear. A Torrington bearing is included in the cam and gear assembly.

This short block is supplied with a cam cover and zinc-plated lifter blocks fitted with standard tappets. The case set includes a 4-1/4-inch flywheel installed. When used with 80-inch Shovelhead barrels, the assembly delivers 80 cubic inches. The short block can be used with 1965–1969 4-speed transmissions and has an 11-3/4-inch transmission shaft.
