The Motorshop 10-1989 Knucklehead 74-inch Short Block is shipped fully assembled for use with the listed Harley-Davidson FL applications. The assembly features replica crankcases, a Sifton oil and breather assembly, stock-stroke flywheel, Timken bearings, and a properly installed stock cam with matched pinion and cam gears. A Torrington bearing is included in the cam assembly.

The short block is supplied with a natural cover and fitted chrome lifter blocks with standard tappets. The tappets accept either a hydraulic lifter unit or a solid conversion kit, which are sold separately. A Manufacturer's Statement of Origin is supplied with the assembly.
