Joe Hunt 1277LB Complete Magneto Head Assembly

Joe Hunt magneto body without shaft features rare earth magnets that never need recharging. Assembly features hex drive base to fit all Joe Hunt Burkhardt and V-Twin drive units for 45 Harley Big Twins.

The Joe Hunt 1277LB Complete Magneto Head Assembly is completely assembled and tested, with internal components ready to fire. It features a female hex drive and four mounting holes for attachment to Big Twin or XL models with right-hand rotation. The lead wire is positioned on the left side of the magneto body.

The rotor uses a polished stainless steel drum with rare earth magnets installed, while the magneto body is accurately die-cast from new tooling. This assembly is designed to deliver a hot spark for easy starting. The base and drive shaft assembly are ordered separately.

For installation, the manufacturer suggests using the 32-1210 Magneto Shaft Assembly, 32-1664 Magneto Adapter Plate, 32-0064 Screw Set with the 32-1347 Magneto Base, and 32-0971 Magneto Drive Assembly.
