GME 11-2614 80-Inch Shovelhead Cylinder Piston Kit

GME 80 inch Shovelhead cylinder and Wiseco piston kit are honed and prefitted with 7:1 compression forged pistons and rings.

The GME 11-2614 80-Inch Shovelhead Cylinder Piston Kit includes a set of two ready-to-run cast iron cylinders and pistons for stock-stroke applications. The kit is identified for 1966–1978 Shovelhead engines and is listed for 1979–1982 Harley-Davidson FL and FX models. Refer to the proper shop manual for break-in recommendations before operation.

All cast iron cylinders use a piston-to-wall clearance of 0.0025–0.003 inch. Installation may require a cylinder base nut set, available separately. GME suggests using the 8601-8 Hi-Torque Cylinder Base Nut Set with this kit. The GME 11-2614 kit is supplied as a complete set of two and has a country of origin of Taiwan.
