GME 11-2613 80-Inch Shovelhead Cylinder Piston Kit

GME 80 inch Shovelhead cylinder and Wiseco piston kit are honed and prefitted with 9.5:1 compression forged pistons and rings.

The GME 11-2613 80-Inch Shovelhead Cylinder Piston Kit includes a set of two ready-to-run cast iron cylinders for stock-stroke applications. The cylinders are intended for 1966–1978 Shovelhead models and require break-in according to the recommendations in the applicable shop manual.

Installation requires a cylinder base nut set, available separately. GME notes that all cast iron cylinders use a piston-to-wall clearance of 0.0025–0.003 inch. This kit is suggested for use with the 8601-8 Hi-Torque Cylinder Base Nut Set. Refer to the provided piston fitment instructions for additional service information.
