The FLY RACING Youth Formula-CC Solid Helmet in Matte Black YL, part number 73-4300YL, is designed with the critical elements of Formula helmet protection. Its Adaptive Impact System (AIS) combines structural designs and energy-mitigating materials, including RHEON viscoelastic material, to improve impact management over traditional helmets. The helmet was developed in collaboration with leaders in helmet safety and tested under scientific review to exceed ECE and DOT standards.

A tri-weave composite shell made from carbon fiber, DuPont™ Kevlar® and fiberglass provides a lightweight shell with superior penetration resistance. RHEON Impact Energy Cells help absorb low-speed linear and rotational impacts, while Conehead® EPS Technology uses tuned zones for a progressive response to low- and high-speed impacts. Expanded-volume EPS provides additional impact-absorbing material in strategic areas, and the EPP chin bar adds energy absorption and damage resistance.

Additional design details include a clavicle shell relief zone filled with EPS and EPP, custom-molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard, lightweight custom visor screws and stainless-steel D-rings. The washable, moisture-wicking, anti-microbial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads support convenient use. True Functional Ventilation (TFV) channels air through multiple intake vents, aligned EPS channels and rear exhaust vents. A soft fleece helmet bag is included.
