FLY RACING Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet Red Carbon/Red/Grey Medium, 73-4451M

The FLY RACING Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet combines a lightweight 12K carbon fiber shell with advanced impact-management features for demanding rides. Conehead® EPS Technology, RHEON Impact Energy Cells, expanded-volume EPS and an expanded polypropylene chin bar work together to help manage impact forces. A clavicle shell relief zone adds a dedicated soft zone designed to help reduce clavicle injuries.

Integrated Quin® Race Sensor technology uses five scientific-grade sensors to evaluate data during use and automatically detect a crash event. Through the Fly Smart App, crash impact data can be recorded and emergency contacts can be notified. The SOS Beacon can notify emergency contacts and emergency services for APEX subscribers by tapping the helmet five times. Ride analytics include live GPS tracking, speed, acceleration and Q-Score data.

Bluetooth 5.0 connects the helmet to the Fly Smart App, while wireless updates provide access to the latest developments from FLY RACING and Quin®. Integrated LED lights indicate device status and flash red if a crash occurs. The rechargeable battery supports a two-hour fast-charge mode through Micro USB and can provide up to 60 days of battery life depending on usage, with automatic sleep and rise-to-wake functions.

Comfort features include washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial liner and quick-release cheek pads, custom-molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard, and True Functional Ventilation that routes air through intake vents, aligned EPS channels and rear exhaust vents. This helmet is ECE and DOT approved and includes a premium helmet garage and an extra visor. SKU: 73-4451M.
