FLY RACING Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet Black Carbon/Teal/Lime Medium 73-4453M

The FLY RACING Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet combines a lightweight 12K carbon fiber shell with advanced impact management and connected safety features. Quin® Race Sensor technology uses five scientific-grade sensors to evaluate data during use and automatically detect a crash event. Through the Fly Smart App, crash impact data can be recorded and emergency contacts can be notified. A 5-diamond monitoring center can dispatch local emergency services for APEX subscribers.

The helmet also provides an SOS Beacon function that lets riders notify emergency contacts and emergency services for APEX subscribers by tapping the helmet five times. Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity supports the Fly Smart App, which offers ride analytics including live GPS tracking, speed, accelerations and Q-Score. Wireless updates help keep the device current, while integrated LED lights indicate device status and flash red if a crash occurs.

Impact protection features include RHEON Impact Energy Cells for managing low-speed linear and rotational impacts, Conehead® EPS Technology, six tuned impact zones, expanded-volume EPS and an Expanded Polypropylene chin bar. A clavicle shell relief zone is filled with EPS and EPP to help reduce clavicle injuries. Comfort features include True Functional Ventilation, a custom molded rubber trim with integrated nose guard, and washable, moisture-wicking, anti-microbial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads. The rechargeable battery supports a two-hour fast charge via Micro USB and up to 60 days of battery life depending on usage. The FLY RACING Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet, part number 73-4453M, includes a premium helmet garage and extra visor.
