It communicates through the diagnostic connector to diagnose the electronic fuel injection module and other systems, including security modules, ABS, gauges, radio and audio systems, and Thunder MAX EFI.

The system consists of a communication interface with a Harley-Davidson adapter, a USB cable for connection to a laptop or PC, and software compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and 10. An adapter for CAN-BUS models is included, and the communication interface is CAN-ready for models with a 6-pin connector. A wireless Bluetooth version of the interface is available.
