The CARDO Venture Helmet XL, part number SMHOXLZ013, combines a composite shell with 4-density impact foam and 360° Turbine Technology. Its optimally designed turbine discs allow the helmet to move slightly on the head during impact, helping reduce peak acceleration to the head and brain. The turbines also use a special energy-absorbing material to absorb low-impact energy associated with concussion.

Designed for comfort and practical protection, this helmet features PRO-FIT™ technology by LEATT with a modulating pad set intended to accommodate any head shape. Ionic+® by LEATT provides naturally self-cleaning antimicrobial technology that inhibits odor-causing bacteria, helping keep the helmet fresher for longer. Additional helmet features include emergency-release cheek pads, a double D-ring fastener, a breakaway visor, and low- and high-speed ventilation channels with large ventilation ports for cooling even at low speeds.

The integrated communication system includes 40mm Sound by JBL speakers, 2nd generation Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC), communication for up to 15 riders, and a range of up to 1.6 km (1 mile). Natural voice operation, live Bluetooth intercom connectivity with other major brands, music sharing, and over-the-air software updates support convenient communication on the road. Electronic components are removable, serviceable, and upgradable. The helmet is ECE R22.06 and DOT homologated and features IP67 waterproofing.
