Wyatt Gatling 64175 Air Cleaner Backing Plate

An exact duplicate of the original part this air cleaner backing plate features a parkerized finish.

The Wyatt Gatling 64175 Air Cleaner Backing Plate is designed for select 1935–1937 Harley-Davidson VL, RL, EL, and UL applications. It features four mounting holes with 8-32 threads for accepting 8-32 shot head screws.

This backing plate accepts covers with four holes and is not intended for use with J-Slot covers. The carburetor-face air cleaner mounting holes feature 12-24 threads for fillister screws.

The air cleaner cover, copper filter, and related hardware are ordered separately. Compatible accessory items include a 6-inch air cleaner backing plate, 6-inch copper air filter mesh, 1936-style air cleaner cover, and air cleaner instruction tag.
