Wiseco K1683 883cc Forged Conversion Piston Kit, .010 Oversize

The Wiseco K1683 883cc Forged Conversion Piston Kit is designed with pistons that are .010 inch oversized and provide a 10:1 compression ratio for applications using a 3-1/2-inch bore. The pistons are forged from a high-silicone alloy for a durable piston construction.

This kit fits 1986 through 1995 Harley-Davidson XL applications listed by the manufacturer. For 2009 and newer XL 883 applications, the cylinders cannot be overbored to 1200cc; separate purchase of 1200cc cylinders is required for use with this piston kit.

Proper break-in is important for new pistons and rings. Run the engine at moderate speeds for at least 500 miles and avoid excessive running in lower gears during the break-in period. The Wiseco K1683 kit is supplied as a kit, and the country of origin is the USA.
