Volt Tech 32-0002 Prestolite Black Electric Starter Kit for Harley-Davidson XLH

Electric starter kit includes Prestolite starter solenoid plunger assembly kit starter solenoid starter drive starter housing and wiring harness.

The Volt Tech 32-0002 Prestolite Black Electric Starter Kit is designed for listed 1967–1976 Harley-Davidson XLH applications. For 1967–1970 models, the engine cases must be the electric-start type, as this kit is intended as a replacement for those applications. Verify the existing clutch drum has the starter ring gear attached before installation.

The kick and electric-start sprocket cover must be used if retaining a kick starter. The battery top cover and strap are not included. When fitting the kit to 1971–1980 models, Volt Tech suggests using the #40-0400 side-mount oil tank. Review the installation instructions before beginning work.

Suggested supporting items include the 17-0083 Starter Shaft Electric Start, 32-0641 Replica Starter Relay, 32-0405 Button Style Handlebar Starter or Horn Switch, and 32-9206 Starter Main Wiring Harness Set. The 32-0002 kit is supplied as a kit and is manufactured in Taiwan.
