S&S Cycle 31-0003 Stock Bore Shovelhead Engine Crankcase Set

Crankcase set comes ready to assemble.

The S&S Cycle 31-0003 Stock Bore Shovelhead Engine Crankcase Set is shipped set up for assembly with a Timken left-side bearing and race assembly, seal and seal spacer, oil pump drive bushing, needle bearing, and a pressed-in, line-honed right-side pinion race. The set is designed for use with stock-bore applications and accepts flywheels up to 8-1/2 inches in diameter.

Included components are cylinder studs, nickel-plated case bolts, crankcase fittings, a timing plug, and a magnetic drain plug. A Manufacturer's Statement of Origin is supplied. The crankcase set is listed for 1970 through 1979 Harley-Davidson FL applications. S&S Cycle suggests using the #12-8002 Oil Pump Assembly with this crankcase set.

Accessory items include the Jims Crank Assembly Removal Tool, Main Bearing Lap Tool, and Hand Spot Tool. These tools are listed separately and provide additional support for crankcase-related service work.
