Paughco 730D2 Stacked Upsweep Header Set

Chrome Paughco stacked upsweep drag header set will accept straight fishtail extensions or mufflers. Front pipe is outside frame use with forward or mid controls without footboards.

The Paughco 730D2 Stacked Upsweep Header Set is designed for swingarm frame installation on nose cone 1970–1984 Shovelhead motors and can be used with an FXE-type battery box. The set includes a one-piece rear upsweep header, a one-piece front header pipe with kick-up rear portion, and two hanger brackets.

This exhaust header set fits 1971–1980 Harley-Davidson FL models as listed. Fishtail extensions, baffles, mufflers, and P-clamps must be ordered separately to complete the installation. When mounting to a swingarm frame, do not attach the headers to the actual moving swingarm. For rigid-frame installations, the installer must provide secure mounting brackets by fabricating a strap bracket as required.

For installation support, Paughco suggests using the 730D2 with the 29-0073 Shovelhead Front Header Pipe Chrome. The chroming process may produce buildup on pipe ends, which could require sanding for proper fitment into the heads. This product is not legal for sale or use in California on pollution-controlled vehicles and is intended for non-highway use only.
