This 6 volt Cycle Electric generator does not include gear.

The Cycle Electric DGV-2578 Black 6 Volt Generator is designed for 1936–1969 FLH applications, including Flathead models. The generator has a 7-inch end measurement and a 6 1/4-inch case measurement. Its OEM cross reference is 29975-61A.

On pre-1958 models, the engine case must be drilled to 5/16-24 to accept late-mount bolts. The required gear kit is ordered separately. Use the 32-0204 gear kit for Big Twin models or the 32-0983 gear kit for XL models. The 32-0221 14-tooth 2-brush generator drive gear is also listed as an accessory item.
