York Softail Rear Chain Drive Kit 19-0153

Conversion kit includes everything needed to convert the belt drive system to heavy duty 530 chain drive. Stock ratio is supplied with a 22 tooth front sprocket and a 51 tooth rear sprocket.

The York Softail Rear Chain Drive Kit, SKU 19-0153, is designed for a stock-size rear tire and fits select 2000–2006 Harley-Davidson FLST models and 2000–2002 Harley-Davidson FXST models. The kit includes a gold-type, rust-resistant 120-link heavy-duty 530 drive chain, chain breaker and master link.

The chain is supplied at 120 links and must be cut to the desired length during installation. Use a chain puller to bring the chain to length, then break it at the appropriate link. The existing pulley spacer should be used behind the transmission 22-tooth sprocket.

Gearing options vary by front and rear sprocket combination. With a 21-tooth front sprocket, a 48-tooth rear sprocket provides 4% deeper gearing, a 49-tooth rear sprocket provides 6.5% deeper gearing and a 51-tooth rear sprocket provides 10.5% deeper gearing. With a 22-tooth front sprocket, the listed combinations provide overdrive, stock belt-drive ratio or deeper gearing as specified for each rear sprocket option.
