York 19-0179 Softail Rear Chain Drive Kit

Conversion kit includes everything needed to convert the belt drive system to heavy duty 530 chain drive. Stock ratio is supplied with a 22 tooth front sprocket and a 51 tooth rear sprocket.

The York 19-0179 Softail Rear Chain Drive Kit is designed for applications using a stock-size rear tire. It includes a standard 530 x 120-link heavy-duty York drive chain and master link. The chain is supplied long so the installer can cut it to the desired length for the application.

Installation requires cutting the chain to length with a chain breaker and using a chain puller to bring it to the correct length before breaking it at the link. The existing pulley spacer should be used behind the transmission 22-tooth sprocket.

With a 21-tooth front sprocket, a 48-tooth rear sprocket provides a 4% deeper ratio, a 49-tooth rear sprocket provides a 6.5% deeper ratio, and a 51-tooth rear sprocket provides a 10.5% deeper ratio. With a 22-tooth front sprocket, a 48-tooth rear sprocket provides a 2.5-inch overdrive or maintains the stock belt-drive ratio, while a 49-tooth rear sprocket provides a 4% deeper ratio and a 51-tooth rear sprocket provides a 6% deeper ratio.
