Volt Tech 29900028A-CHR Alternator Charging System Kit, 54 Amp, Chrome

Charging system kit includes the voltage regulator and mounting bracket featuring a chrome finish with the rotor and stator.

The Volt Tech 29900028A-CHR high-output alternator charging system kit is engineered to provide 30% more power than the stock system at idle. It produces 54 amps at 4,000 RPM, helping accessories operate at peak performance while reducing dimming lights, reduced audio performance, and under-performing heated gear.

This charging system is recommended for vehicles equipped with multi-amp audio systems, heated seats, heated gear, and other higher-draw powered accessories. The complete kit includes a high-performance rotor, stator, voltage regulator, gaskets, and installation hardware. A new oil cooler hose is required and must be supplied by the customer.

The Volt Tech 29900028A-CHR kit fits select Harley-Davidson FLT models from 2011 through 2016 and Harley-Davidson FLHX models from 2009 through 2012. It is also listed as stock equipment on select CVO Touring models. Refer to the manufacturer installation instructions for application and installation details.
