V-Twin 24-1632 Factory Sample 41mm Fork Slider Assembly

The V-Twin 24-1632 Factory Sample 41mm Fork Slider Assembly is designed for use with 41mm billet or stock-type triple trees. These fork sliders can also be used on 1948-1984 FL, 1971-1984 FX, 1986-1999 FLST, and 1984-1999 FXST applications as stated by the manufacturer. The axle holes pass straight through both sides of the sliders.

Use of 1984-1999 FXST calipers is required for these sliders. The installer must fabricate the correct axle. Before installation, drain the assembly lubricant and check threaded and bearing holes for excess plating. The manufacturer recommends 20-weight fork oil for average conditions, with 10.2 ounces of fork oil per leg. Total length is 35-3/8 inches.

These factory sample parts are brand-new pre-production components that may have cosmetic imperfections in the finished surface, including marks from installation testing and fitment. They do not have physical defects such as cracks or holes. The manufacturer suggests using the V-Twin 24-0230 1-inch Taper Bearing Neck Conversion Kit. Supplied as a set.
