V-Twin 22-3012 Factory Sample Daniel Boone Forward Control Kit

Daniel Boone chrome brake forward control kit fits all hydraulic brake models with disc brakes for rigid or swingarm frames. Includes correct linkage for 4-speed 1979-1984 rotary top models.

The V-Twin 22-3012 Factory Sample Daniel Boone Forward Control Kit includes right-hand brake and left-hand shift assemblies. It accepts a Kelsey Hayes type master cylinder, which is not included, and mounts to the frame with 3/8-inch-16 hex bolts. Rear 3/8-inch bore master cylinders and hex bolts must be ordered separately. For ratchet-top applications, order the rod separately.

This factory sample is a brand-new pre-production part with possible cosmetic imperfections in the finished surface. Samples may show marks from installation testing and fitment. The product has no physical defects such as cracks or holes; however, threaded and bearing holes should be checked for excess plating before installation. The rod end measures 1-13/16 inches.

Suggested components include the V-Twin 23-1735 rear master cylinder with 3/4-inch bore and chrome finish, along with the V-Twin 23-1725 front or rear brake caliper piston. The V-Twin 22-3012 kit is listed for select Harley-Davidson FX, FXST and FL applications. It is supplied as a set and manufactured in Taiwan.
