V-Twin 1222 Ironhead LAF Exhaust Header Set, Black

Ironhead LAF exhaust header set features a black finish.

The V-Twin 1222 Ironhead LAF Exhaust Header Set is designed for 1957–1966 Harley-Davidson XL models. This black-painted header set has an outer pipe diameter of 1-3/4 inches and is supplied as a set.

The pipes attach to each other at the end. An additional mounting bracket may need to be fabricated to mount the set to the frame. The header set has oxidation, or rust, on the inside, and the installer will need to repaint the pipe set on both the inside and outside before installation.

V-Twin recommends using #41-0125 VHT Flame Proof 1350 Black Finish to coat the inner and outer surfaces of the header pipes. Compatible accessory items listed for this product include the 30-0857 Finned Exhaust Port Flange Kit, 30-0205 Exhaust Flange Kit Chrome, 30-0312 Exhaust Taper Valve Kit, and 30-0103 Wyatt Gatling Steel 2 inch Pipe Baffle Set.
