The V-Twin 0219001 Electric Starter Kit is designed for 45-inch belt-drive applications and fits 1941–1950 Harley-Davidson G models. The kit includes a specially modified 12-volt starter motor with gear, a special gearbox mounting top cover, a 17-piece top screw set, electrical connector, clutch lock tab, special clutch hub with attached ring gear, battery box, short and long wiring cables, starter relay, horn button for use as a starter button, and shifter rod.

This V-Twin starter kit is listed for belt-drive use. It can also fit chain-drive applications when an extra-thick clutch lining is used to provide clearance for the chain and starter teeth; this may not be practical for most users.
