However, more power and better throttle response is a difficult design problem. Hotcams’ ITR technology solved this dilemma through highly engineered opening ramps not found on other cams. Using ITR technology, the critical ramp area is designed to give your engine a cleaner intake charge and a more efficient combustion cycle, making your engine more responsive at all throttle openings and giving the rider better feel and control of the engine! Hot Cams Racing Cam Stage 2, part number 3308-2IN, is a high-performance racing camshaft engineered to improve throttle response and engine responsiveness. Hot Cams develops camshaft designs for track performance, focusing on more than peak dyno power. Its Improved Throttle Response (ITR) technology uses highly engineered opening ramps to support a cleaner intake charge and a more efficient combustion cycle.

The result is improved response at all throttle openings, helping provide better rider feel and control of the engine. The camshaft requires no core and is designed to use stock valve springs and rockers in most applications. Adjustable cam sprockets are supplied with some models.

This Hot Cams racing camshaft fits select 2016–2019 Husqvarna FC 250, 2016–2017 KTM 250 SX-F, and 2016–2017 and 2019 KTM 250 XC-F applications. It is not legal for use in California on pollution-controlled vehicles and is intended for race use only in California; a waiver is available.
