Accel A557 Electronic Advance Distributor

Accel electronic advance distributor features the option of running either dual or single fire mode when matched with the appropriate coil.

The Accel A557 Electronic Advance Distributor is designed for use with resistor-type spark plugs, resistor-type wires, and an electronic ignition coil. It features revolution limiting and an LED for easy static timing. The distributor is designed to work with or without a VOES input.

Its machined aluminum housing provides heat-sinking capability and can be installed without disassembling the engine when stock heads and barrels are used. Installation requires a reverse circuit breaker gear. The Accel A557 Electronic Advance Distributor fits 1936–1940 Harley-Davidson EL and 1941–1945 Harley-Davidson FL applications.
