Volt Tech 32-0011 Hitachi Chrome Electric Starter Kit

Electric starter kit includes Hitachi starter solenoid plunger assembly kit starter solenoid Volt Tech starter drive Hitachi starter housing starter wiring harness and all other components.

The Volt Tech 32-0011 Hitachi Chrome Electric Starter Kit is designed for specified Harley-Davidson XLH applications from 1967 through 1976. For installation, the existing clutch drum must have the starter ring gear attached. On 1967–1970 models, the engine cases must be electric-start type because the kit is intended as a replacement for those applications.

The kick and electric-start sprocket cover must be used if retaining the kick starter. When fitting the kit to 1971–1980 models, Volt Tech suggests using the #40-0400 side-mount oil tank. The battery top cover and strap are not included.

This kit is identified by SKU 32-0011 and has a listed unit of measure of KIT. Suggested items include the 17-0083 electric-start starter shaft, 32-0641 replica starter relay, 32-0310 black positive 15-1/2-inch battery cable, and 32-0405 button-style handlebar starter or horn switch.
