12 volt black generator is 2-brush type and includes an external regulator with mount backet.

The V-Twin 32-2507 12 Volt Generator and Regulator Kit is designed for selected Harley-Davidson FL models from 1942 through 1968. The kit includes a generator gear and oil reflector for servicing the generator assembly.

On pre-1958 models, the case and 13-tooth gear kit must be drilled to accept 5/16-inch-24 screws. The regulator sits on top of the generator, so installation should account for this configuration.

This kit is listed for 1942, 1943, 1945, 1947, 1949, 1951, 1954, 1960, 1965 and 1968 Harley-Davidson FL models. V-Twin part number 32-2507 is supplied as a kit.
