V-Twin 32-1675 Chrome 12 Volt Alternator Generator Conversion Kit

Chrome alternator bolts on in place of original 12 volt generator. Includes chrome solid state regulator gear gasket and mount screw set.

The V-Twin 32-1675 Chrome 12 Volt Alternator Generator Conversion Kit delivers high power output of 17 amps at 1,000 rpm. It is designed for 1941–1950 Harley-Davidson FL models and provides a chrome-finished alternator generator conversion.

On 1941–1957 models, the generator screw holes must be enlarged to 5/16 inch to fit the supplied generator screws. A Helicoil thread repair kit is required to convert the alternator from a 5/16-24 thread to a 1/4-24 thread when using the early mount bolt set. V-Twin suggests using the #16-0920 Thread Repair Kit.

The outer cover with the large hex nut houses the rotor magnets, which are enclosed in a stainless steel shell. The rotor turns while the engine is running. The kit is identified by SKU 32-1675 and has a listed unit of measure of kit.
