The Motortechnic 10-0945 Knucklehead 74 cubic inch engine case set is designed as a replacement for the original cases. Made in Germany, these cases feature original detail in the casing and are marked with the numeral “7” on the rear motor mount halves to denote 74 cubic inches.

This case set is supplied without serial numbers, and a Bill of Sale will be issued for blank cases. Pinion and sprocket shaft races are not included. The set is listed for 1941–1947 Harley-Davidson FL applications.

Technical notes identify crankcase main race measurements taken with the left and right races removed. The left case race measured .2025 inch, while Sifton measured .2045 inch and Eastern measured .2075 inch. The right case race measured .325 inch, while Sifton measured .3245 inch and Eastern measured .3615 inch. The supplier notes that installing a .024-inch thrust ring behind each case race worked well and suggests using this set with the 10-0208 Sprocket Left Side Case Race Standard.
