The Motorshop 10-4147 74-inch Knucklehead Engine Assembly is a replica V-twin engine shipped fully assembled with a black M-74 Linkert carburetor. This assembly features replica crankcases with authentic cast profiles, relay and number bosses, polished rocker boxes, and an overhead oiler provision from the timing cover. The newly cast Knucklehead heads include parkerized lower valve cover cups and tops. Cast iron-type flywheels are assembled with stock rods and Torrington rollers with steel cages at the sprocket and pinion shaft ends.

The valve train includes solid tappet assemblies, a Sifton Lightning cam, Sifton solid stock pushrods, chrome pushrod covers, and a smooth cover. Replica cast iron cylinders are fitted with 8.5:1 cast pistons and Hastings rings.
